Two Old Hippies
Revealed by the The Gulch Guru on 06/20/11
Two Old Hippies is a guitar, apparel and gift store opening in The Gulch in September 2011. We sat down with owner, Molly Bedell, to get some details about what Two Old Hippies is all about. There is currently a store in Aspen, Colorado and The Gulch store will be the second location. Tom and Molly Bedell retired from their 20+ year careers and decided to go back to their hippie roots with the Two Old Hippies store. With Tom heading up the guitar side of things and Molly having the ultimate hippie style of comfort and color, the store sounds incredible. Two Old Hippies represents a lifestyle of “peace, love and rock n’ roll.” What more could Nashville ask for?
The new location is a huge space right next to Urban Outfitters that will have everything from a stage for musical performances to a kids play area to a VW van inside! Although the build out has not begun, the description of the space made us not want to wait until September for this laid back, music filled store to open. The concept of Two Old Hippies really encourages people to come to the store and play music with friends or just hang out. We are very excited to welcome Two Old Hippies to The Gulch!
